A 23-year-old woman traveling with her 4-year-old daughter was arrested and charged with driving under the influence this morning on Route 50, just hours after being arrested on the same charge in Worcester County.

Ann Marie Abdullin of Salisbury was stopped on Route 50 and Hobbs Road this morning at 4:30 a.m. by the Salisbury barrack of the Maryland State Police for alleged traffic violations. Police say Abdullin had her 4-year-old daughter in the car at the time of the stop.

Police say Abdullin had just been released from the Berlin barrack of the Maryland State Police after being arrested for driving while impaired by alcohol at 1:30 a.m. Abdullin was released from the Berlin barrack to a sober driver, who police say transported her back to her vehicle and allowed her to drive away. Charges are pending against that person, according to police.

Abdullin was placed under arrest and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center after refusing her second breath test. She faces charges of driving while impaired, driving under the influence, operating motor vehicle within 12 hours of being arrested for DUI, negligent driving and other minor traffic charges.
