Wow…a lot of people [myself included] have had their speculations on this case since the unfortunate death of a 13 month old baby took place this month. Speculations that the 15 year old suspect and just the story overall isn’t adding up. The shooting death of a 13-month-old baby in a stroller and the wounding of the baby’s mother during at attempted robbery in Brunswick, Ga., has taken a wild turn.
The daughter of Sherry West, the woman who lost her infant, told WTLV she has questions about her mother’s story.
“She changed her story as far as she told me that the baby was shot first and then she told me she was shot first,” Ashley Glassey said.
The report included an audio clip of a telephone call Glassey received from her mother the night of the shooting, which also led Glassey to question the events.
“How soon do you think life insurance policy will send me a check?” West asked her daughter.
The report also indicated that Glassey said West is “bi-polar and has schizophrenic tendencies.”
Glassey said she tried to contact Brunswick police, but they have not returned her call.
West maintains she’s telling the truth about what happened.
