Meek Mill’s new mixtape, Dreamchasers 3, was scheduled to be released in the coming week, but it will not drop as planned as the MMG rapper has postponed the tape indefinitely.
During a recent interview with Karen Civil, Meek Mill announced that the third installment of his Dreamchasers mixtape series has been put on hold.
Meek states:
Dreamchasers 3, I’ll tell you the truth about Dreamchasers 3. Dreamchasers 3 is getting pushed back.
The MMG rapper explains the reason for the delay:
I really just started working on all my mixtape stuff. Really I’ve been traveling. It’s like the fourth tour. I rally don’t like to record all over the place.
Meek says he doesn’t know when the tape will drop, but he will release new music on the day it was supposed to drop to hold the fans over while waiting:
I’m gonna actually push it back, I don’t know what date, but the day the CDs supposed to come out, I’m just gonna drop some new sh*t to hold me over for a few months.
Also during the interview, Meek Mill addressed Reebok dropping Rick Ross:
F*ck Reebok, we wear Puma’s. As far as Ross’ situation with Reebok, I just don’t approve of none of that. Companies trying to dibble in and dab into our culture, and when you make a mistake they dip out on you. They’re still making money on our brand.
He adds:
I’m very against that. Ross is off Reebok now, but Reebok is still going to make money off Ross.
