A gunman opened fire at an intersection near Santa Monica College, and another shooting was reported on the school’s campus Friday.

A fully armed man standing on a street corner in the Santa Monica area fired on multiple vehicles, including a bus, the California Highway Patrol confirmed.
Santa Monica police confirmed there was also an emergency at the school on 1900 Pico Blvd., but did not confirm details of a shooting still emerging.
