It’s been 17  years since the supposed “passing” of Tupac Amaru Shakur, AKA Parish Lesane Crooks, AKA Makaveli, AKA the Greatest Rapper to Ever Do It. And even though the media has often portrayed him and the “crazy one,” he has never been forgotten by his true fans.

To celebrate the anniversary of his supposed “passing,” I present to you evidence of the contrary.

The #WordEyeHeard Presents: Top 5 Reasons Tupac AIN’T DEAD!

5. MMG’s Song “Tupac Back”

You can think it’s just a metaphor if you want, but I see right through this pathetic excuse for a cover-up. You’re trying to tell us that Tupac isn’t back; he never left!

Think about it; Rick Ross has to be in the Illuminati. He’s never, EVER gone more than gold on any album, yet somehow he made Forbes’ List of Hip Hop’s cash kings? Not to mention, he still has sex, despite the fact that his breasts are bigger than the women he sleep with.  #OkayDen

And don’t try to say that a member of MMG was merely comparing themselves to Tupac. Rick Ross is much too fat, Wale is much too sensitive (yes, more sensitive than Pac), and Meek Meel is much too loud. And the other members aren’t important enough to have been Pac.

This picture is funny as hell doe.

So this is just the Illuminati’s way of telling us that Tupac is clearly still alive.

If you haven’t heard this subliminal message, check it out below:

4. All Those Posthumous Albums…

Listen, I don’t care how crazy Pac’s work ethic was. How in the hell you got more music come out after you DIED, than you had when you were ALIVE??? #cmonson

His video for “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” should be clue enough: in the video, he was shot and died. Seriously….

But if that’s not enough for you non-believers, you explain the SEVEN albums he’s released since he died?? And 8 if you include the  Greatest Hits album, but I’ll be nice.

So you’re telling me, in between smoking weed, having sex, beefing with Biggie, being a revolutionary, having Suge Knight’s back, and doing shows, he had time to record enough songs for albums released up to 2007??

On Bun B’s album Trill OG, he has a song with the late Pimp C, Tupac, and Trey Songz, “Right Now.” In the song, Pac says “get me bodied.” Beyonce didn’t come up with that term til a couple of years ago. #OkayDen

Y’all know just like I know that Tupac is someone in Cuba with a studio in his house getting to work.

3. Willow Smith’s Letter to Pac

You probably know of the close relationship Jada Pinkett Smith had with Pac. They went to high school together in Baltimore, and Jada even got him a few appearances on her sitcom “A Different World.”

Jada’s even said that while they were never romantically involved, those feelings were there. (Pac hit that. It’s okay, Jada. LOL)

So Jada’s shared her love of Pac with her daughter Willow, and look the letter she wrote to him:

What does the first line say, ladies and gentlemen???

I KNOW YOU ARE ALIVE SOME PLACE!!!!

If anybody knows Pac was alive, it’s his mother and Jada Pinkett Smith. You might not take Willow seriously because she’s a kid, but think about it: children are the most honest people on the planet.

Even Willow knows he’s alive. Y’all trippin.

2. The Tupac Hologram

If you saw Hologram Tupac’s performance at Coachella, you were probably amazed yet creeped out. That hologram, looked, sounded, and moved just like Pac. From the tattoos, to his signature 2-step, that was Pac all day long.

Pac yelled out “what up Dre??” He said “what up Snoop??”

But…the creepiest part of his performance was when he said “what the F is up Coachella!!”

Hold on.

You can play his song and have the hologram mouth it, but who in the hell did you find to say “WADDUP COACHELLA” and sound just like Pac? Lemme tell you what really happened…

Pac’s mama heard about the hologram, called Pac in Cuba, had him record it in his studio real quick, and she sent the audio and claimed a really good impersonator did it.

You don’t have to go past the first 30 seconds of this performance and you’ll be convinced.

Look at how uncomfortable Snoop looked. It’s not because he was sad Pac was gone. He was pissed off that Pac wasn’t there, because he knows Pac was somewhere watching it online like the rest of us who weren’t in California.

1. Dammit, Because I Said So!

Tupac Amaru Shakur left the earth (they say) on September 13th, 1996. I was still in elementary school. My best friend called and told me, and we read the newspaper article, taking turns on each paragraph. I became obsessed with him, making up my own “Thug Life” board game, grabbing every poster, album, and book I could find. And that’s not easy on allowance money lol.

I have a book with the alleged picture of Tupac on the autopsy table, all cut up. Read the police reports and watched the videos on his supposed death.

But you know what? When you love an artist so much that he speaks to your heart whenever you play the cd, he’ll never die. Pac is in the hearts of everyone who loved him and/or loved his music.

I’m in that category.

So I don’t care what y’all say: today, I celebrate the day he became a living legend, not the anniversary of his death.

I’m lilD, and that’s the Word Eye Heard.
