Nick Cannon had a run-in with his ex-fiancée during recent visit on Katie Couric’s talk show. According to reports, the “Real Husbands of Hollywood” star was seated next to Selita Ebanks during an episode of Katie. In efforts to soothe the awkwardness, the former Victoria Secret model turned to Nick and said, “Hi, how are you?” “So we’ll just clear this all up,” Nick shared with the audience. “We used to be engaged, so it’s not an awkward moment. They’re laughing that we’re sitting next to each other.” After putting his arm around Selita, he added, “But we’re cool. We’re friends.” If you don’t recall, the former lovebirds ended their longtime romance in October 2007. And just seven months later, Nick said “I do” to his now-wife Mariah Carey.
