Kelly Rowland is finally opening up about her plans to marry manger-turned-fiancé Tim Witherspoon!
The 32-year-old beauty revealed details of her surprise proposal during an interview airing Wednesday on “The Queen Latifah Show.”
“He put a ring on it! Yes, it’s official,” Kelly gushed, showing off her diamond rock. “He asked me first on Skype.”
If she remembers currently, she was in Bulgaria at the time. “I was like, ‘We’re so far away from each other!’”
“There’s nothing like getting engaged in Bulgaria,” Latifah chimed in. “It’s the happiest thing that happened in Bulgaria that day.”
“Exactly,” Kelly replied. “But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other. And he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, ‘I got my best friend to ride through life with.’ He really is my best friend.”
As far as their dating history, the former Destiny’s Child member said, “It’s been a while.”
“We’ve kept it very, very low—for years, to be completely honest,” she shared.”
