Last night Marlon Wayans celebrated the premiere of his latest comedy, “Haunted House 2″ in Los Angeles, but unfortunately, the night didn’t end on a laughable note. Fellow funnyman Mike Epps is accused of assaulting an ex-lover at the premiere’s after-party, which is said to have taken place at Lucky Strike in Downtown Los Angeles.

The unnamed woman, who according to TMZ says she had a previous romantic relationship with the actor, is claiming that he punched her in the face after she confronted him during the after-party. The woman called the police and filed a report; however, cops say she showed no signs of injury.

Mike told the police that he never touched the woman and sources close to the situation say that she didn’t even know him personally and was simply a fan. The way his camp tells the story, the woman approached him and he requested privacy because he attended the event with his wife (pictured above). Feeling slighted by his request, the woman supposedly became belligerent and resorted to drink throwing. Shortly after, security escorted her out of the venue.

LAPD sources say that the case has been forwarded to the domestic violence division since the alleged victim is claiming to have a relationship with the comedian. The situation is still under investigation.
