Kandi Burruss doesn’t think it’s fair that Porsha Williams’ reality TV gig be taken away from her just because of her tussle with Kenya Moore.
“If you’re going to let someone go, it shouldn’t be because of that,” Kandi recently told Bethenny Frankel, recalling past season altercations involving NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield. “It’s been other things to happen that people didn’t get fired for. So, I don’t think it’s fair to do that to her.”
Like many of her co-stars, Kandi agreed that Porsha was provoked by nemesis Kenya who continued to point a scepter in Porsha’s directions.
“It was a lot going on… She was pushed. She definitely was provoked; I would think,” said Kandi.
Rumors have been swirling about Porsha getting the axe by Bravo, but as far as Kandi’s concerned, they’re just that.
“No one has told me that they’re getting rid of Porsha,” said Kandi who didn’t comment on Porsha’s recent arrest in connection with the “RHOA” reunion bout.
Part 1 of the 3-part “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST. Kandi’s new husband, Todd Tucker, and her mother will be making appearances. According to Kandi, viewers shouldn’t expect to see a lot of growth in Todd and Mama Joyce’s relationship.
