Chris Brown has accepted a plea deal in his Washington, D.C. assault case.
The 25-year-old singer had been charged with misdemeanor assault forpunching Parker Adams in the face outside his tour bus last October, an assault that occurred while he was on probation for attacking Rihanna.
Brown pled gulity to misdemeanor assault and was sentenced to time served. He previously spent two days in a D.C. jail in this case.
During his court appearance on Monday, Brown issued an apology. “I would like to say to the court that I’m sorry,” he said.
Brown’s attorney, Danny Onorato, said that Brown had already been punished extensively for the assault including the 108 days he spent in an L.A. jail.
