As part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Rehabilitation Project, workers will begin the process of replacing the pavement on the road on Monday.

Work on the road will stretch from I-90 just north of E. 105th to Chester Ave. Work on Jeptha Drive near the Cleveland Museum of Art will also begin.

The project also has funding to repair sidewalks, curbs driveways, drainage and pedestrian crossing signals.

Traffic in the area is will be maintained throughout the project.

Slowdowns are expected in the area. Drivers should exercise caution as traffic patterns will change throughout the project.

All work should be complete by December 2012.
