Season 4 of ‘Basketball Wives’ was full of what I like to call unnecessary drama. Catfights, yelling, bag stealing, cussing and slapping pretty much sums up what went down on Vh1’s top rated reality show. Not only have the fans had enough of the BBW antics but now Shaunie O’Neal, the executive producer and creator, is ready to wash her hands of the show and get rid of a few cast members on the way. If you watched any of last season (I know it was hard to do) you saw Shaunie in one particular episode speaking with her pastor at church about what was happening with the ladies on the show. She actually seemed as though it was weighing heavily on her conscience and was even thinking about leaving then. Clearly she didn’t walk away at that moment but recently in an interview with The Insider Shaunie admitted that she wasn’t interested in coming back to the show and had no problem walking away from the franchise.
Shaunie also said that 3 women need to be cut from the cast immediately for her to even think about doing another season. Don’t get to excited you know she didn’t say names but she did clarify that it isn’t personal but those particular ladies just aren’t going in the direction she is trying to move in.
