A newly-signed Browns linebacker is starting his career in Cleveland on some rough turf.

According to Orange Village police, Quentin Groves, 29, was arrested on April 17 for soliciting prostitution.

The bust happened during a joint operation with Beachwood police, the Cuyahoga Sheriff’s Office and Orange Village officers at the Homestead Guest Studios.

During the sting, a female police officer acted as an escort and took several calls from men interested in sex for hire.

Groves was allegedly one of them.

Groves apologized for the incident in the following statement:

“I want to apologize to the Browns organization, our fans and the city of Cleveland for putting myself in this situation. I realize I let a lot of people down, most importantly my family. I am committed to learning from this and moving forward.” Read more
