Lil Reese’s arrest was in connection to the disturbing footage of him beating up a girl in her home.
20-year-old Reese was arrested Sunday (April 28) while sleep in a car in the 4400 block of South Wells, and is being held in lieu of $100K bond.
Police ran his name and found the warrant. Records show it was issued Thursday and bail was set at $100,000. Those records also show the rapper was picked up April 13 in the 6600 block of Wentworth for driving without insurance or a license.
So the video of Reese beating this girl up went viral and sparked public outrage. He stomped that girl out.
Taylor appeared in Cook County Bond Court on Sunday. It was unclear as of noon Monday if or when he would be transferred to Champaign County.
