Details are scarce right now, but officials over at Food Network say they are not renewing Paula Deen’s contract, which expires at the end of the month.
Paula admitted under oath that she has used the n-word in the past, and social networks (namely Twitter) exploded over the news.
The Queen of Southern Cooking had since apologized, saying she doesn’t condone the use of the word today, but she grew up in the south i the 1960′s when everyone used it.
She has a point.
