New York State police were called to a McDonald’s in Western New York last weekend when a man asleep at the wheel of his car in the drive-thru.
Troopers came at about 2 a.m. Saturday morning and found the 32-year-old driver sleeping at the wheel while the engine of his car was running.
The troopers woke him, had him take a sobriety tests…and yea…he failed. Police say he was charged with driving while intoxicated for having a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent which is nearly twice the legal alcohol limit of 0.08 percent.
