The ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker has made no secret of his love of smoking weed in the past and was even arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana in February 2012, and it would appear nothing has changed with Robin revealing the true extent of his substance usage.
Blaming it on his “bad knee” Robin, 35, reportedly told The Sun: “I do smoke, I do everything I’m not supposed to do. Weed is my crutch, my muse, the lesser of all evil.
“I’ve spent a good $500,000 on pot. I’ve tried to quit smoking. I’ve quit everything once.”
Explaining how he gets his hands on marijuana on a regular basis, Robin added: “My buddy runs a store. I can get medical marijuana. When I’m at home it’s a non-stop chimney.”
Last year, Robin was stopped by police officers near Madison Square Park in Manhattan who reportedly found a small amount of marijuana inside of his black SUV. However, he was given a ticket and released.
Meanwhile, Robin was recently forced to deny mounting speculation that his super hot wife Paula Patton was high during her appearance at the BET Awards last month, claiming she was acting.
“Nah she did not look crazy, she’s an actress, she was playing a character,” Robin told Hot 97.
