After 22 years of marriage, Kris and Bruce Jenner have officially separated.

“We are living apart,” the mother of six revealed in the Monday, Oct. 7 issue of Us Weekly. “But there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family.”

“We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship,” she added. “I will always love him, but we are longer a couple in that way.”

Kris and Bruce have two kids together, 17-year-old Kendall and 16-year-old Kylie, and eight other children from previous relationships, including “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” stars Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Brody and Brandon.

According to E! News, the Kardashian klan kept this split a secret for over year.

“We are much happier this way,” the former lovebirds said in a joint statement. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

TMZ reports Bruce told friends at an event over the weekend, “I’m finally free to do what I want and live life the way I want.”

Divorce papers for the couple, who wed in April 1991, have yet to be filed.
