Put your pennies back in the piggy bank and tell Santa to forget it, because Footlocker just announced that they will not be selling the Nike Air Yeezy II “Red October” next week.
On December 20th, Footlocker sent out a tweet from its company Twitter account announcing the sale of Kanye West’s much anticipated Red October sneakers will occur online only at 8 A.M. on December 27th. On December 24th less than five days from the initial announcement, Footlocker went back to Twitter to change their plans:
No word on if Kanye had a hand in this decision, but one can assume his mind is on his new partnership with Adidas.
