Wow, what an emotional, rough year Evelyn Lozada had two years ago!

In 2012, she was on top of the “Basketball Wives” latter as the leading mean lady.

But her reign came tumbling down soon after a string of extremely personal downs in her life.

At first, she was happy in love with Chad Johnson.

The couple were expected to have their own spin off series, “Ev & Ocho” — this didn’t happened.

And it had everything to do with a very publicized domestic violence dispute weeks into their marriage.

“I had the worst 2012, I thought my life was over,” Evelyn admitted to Life & Style magazine.

The two have since divorced and Lozada has definitely moved on.

But that’s not all that happened to Lozada that year.

“It happened so publicly, and then the passing of my brother-in-law,” Evelyn said. “That entire incident [with Chad] led me to where I am now.”

But she has since found happiness in her life especially with a baby on the way and fiance Carl Crawford.

“He came into my life at a perfect time,” Evelyn said “Everything that happened makes me appreciate him 1,000 times more and he also makes me a better person.”

But her past downs led her into her now ups.

“I would say my broken bridge led me to happiness,” she explained. “If I had to do it again, I would because I truly feel complete right now in my life and I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
