The Movie original dropped in 1996, and 19 years later (WOW) Martin Lawrence announced on his Instagram page that he had completed the script for the sequel to the film, which he worked on alongside former “Martin” showrunner, Bentley Kyle Evans (who also co-screenwriter for the original film).
