CLEVELAND – New details about President Barack Obama’s planned visit to Cleveland Wednesday are coming to light, as those who will play host to the president scramble to prepare. Plans were hastily finalized in just the last few days.

**Fox8.com will have complete and live coverage of the President’s visit, including live streaming of his remarks at the City Club**

In addition to speaking before the City Club of Cleveland, President Obama will visit the local non-profit Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network, or MAGNET.

He is expected to tour the facility, located on Cleveland State University’s Campus, which is also home to Cleveland Whiskey. MAGNET provides support, including engineers and advisors to help local small and mid-sized manufacturers innovate and grow.

“It came out of the blue, but we’re extremely excited about it and welcome the opportunity to show what we’re trying to do with the resources available from the federal government,” said MAGNET CEO Dan Berry, adding that the organization plans to show President Obama some of the products being manufactured by companies it has assisted.

Obama will then deliver a speech on middle class economics before City Club of Cleveland members at the Cleveland Convention Center. It will be followed by a question and answer session. All 500 tickets were scooped up by members and guests within an hour of their release, according to CEO Dan Moulthrop.

“This is a dream come true. This is something that every institution that brings people together for the sake of democracy aspires to do, is get the president,” Moulthrop said, adding that more than 100 people joined the City Club since the presidential visit was announced.

There will likely be traffic tie-ups as a result of the president’s visit. He’ll be flying in and out of Hopkins International Airport Wednesday afternoon and traveling downtown, so expect delays in those areas.
