Director David Ayer is currently working on his next big film, Suicide Squad, which is apparently just as dark as it sounds. In fact, the storyline (based on the DC Comics) is so heavy, that Ayer hired an on-set therapist to prevent his all-star cast from taking their work home.

Adam Beach, who plays Slipknot in the film, told E! at the premiere of Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser that Ayer is all about realism, and will do just about anything to get the most authentic performance possible from his actors.

Beach told E!:

“So if your character is tormented, he wants you to torment yourself. He wants the real thing. We kind of have like a therapist on board if you fall off the wagon and really are villainous. There’s a friend of [Ayer’s] that’s very unique in making sure we have our ground.”

Suicide Squad also stars Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, and Joel Kinnaman, and will premiere next August.

OK! TV Launch Celebration

After nearly eight dramatic years on Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo’s biggest network star NeNe Leakes is throwing in the towel. The 48-year-old television icon decided that at some point, enough is enough. She told PEOPLE, “I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders,” but also admitted it was not an easy decision.

“Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things,” she said.

We’re sad, but we forgive you, NeNe.

MTV released a sneak peek of Scream, their new TV series (based on the iconic horror movies) about a viral YouTube video that leads to a number of pretty steep problems for the teenagers of Lakewood. Catch the dramatic series premiere on Tuesday, June 30th at 10 p.m. and watch the 8-minute clip above.

If just one Sinister movie wasn’t enough for you, fear not. A sequel is on its way…and the fear is spreading. Focus Features released an exclusive teaser clip from Sinister 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit horror movie. The sequel will hit theaters on August 21, 2015.
