The New Orleans rapper also shares his thoughts on Snoop Dogg’s son leaving the UCLA football team.

Master P was asked his thoughts on Snoop Dogg‘s son, Cordell Broadus, leaving the UCLA football team. Broadus quit the team before the beginning of his freshman football season this year because he wasplaying in order to try to make his father happy.

“If you’re doing that for somebody else then you shouldn’t do it,” Master P says to TMZ. “You gotta love it.”

The No Limit General used to play basketball and spent some time during different NBA preseasons with the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors. His son, Romeo, played on scholarship for USC.

“When Romeo played, he played for himself,” Master P says. “He wanna be the best player he can be. If it’s not something you wanna do, then you don’t need to do it.”
