Wale just received blessing of a lifetime. The MMG rapper became a father on Friday (Jul. 22) reports TMZ. The D.C. native’s girlfriend, Chloe Alexis, gave birth to a healthy baby girl at a New York City-area hospital who arrived this afternoon. “I never cried and smiled at the same time until today,” tweeted Wale. “She so beautiful slim… She perfect,” he said after to his nearly 5 million fans on Twitter.
The joyful moment forced Wale to pull out of performing at the One Africa Music Fest at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday night. Currently there’s no information on the baby’s name. Congrats to Wale and Chloe!
