During the first few stops on Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne tour, RapFix noted that Kanye got a bit emotional while performing the single “Runaway” from his hit album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (“Love gets hard sometimes, but do me a favor—if you love someone tonight, hold on real tight,” he told the crowd in North Carolina). But during WTT’s Wednesday night (November 2) tour stop in Philadelphia, Kanye took it a bit further by specifically addressing his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose during the performance.

“I know love ain’t always easy, especially when people are in your business, like they are with me all the time,” Kanye began. “Y’all gonna fight. Y’all gonna argue. It’s gonna be people hating on y’all and sh–.” Then, without actually mentioning her name, Ye made a comment that could’ve only been directed at Rose. “To the city of Philly, I want to thank y’all for making the incredible person that this song was made for,” he said.

Oddly enough, Amber Rose’s current boyfriend Wiz Khalifa made a similar announcement to Philly last weekend during the Powerhouse concert when he told the crowd, “Philly, thank you for making her, but she’s mine now.”
