This is what lilD tells people when asked how she started in broadcasting. The contrary couldn’t be truer today, though.
Winning radio rap contests landed her a co-host gig on the night show in Shreveport, LA, on KMJJ in 2005. After eight months of learning and observing for free, she finally began earning a paycheck.

Bijou Star, the "Glam Girl", was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
