The Snowman follows up today’s release of the video for “OJ” with the announcement of his next tour. THE ‘A Hustlerz Ambition’ tour will begin March 3rd in DC, and wrap April 6th, in Montreal.

Read more..]]> It looks like Dave Chappelle might step back into the limelight thanks to an unlikely source of inspiration: Jay-Z and Kanye West.

The two artists collaborated on the Watch The Throne album last year, which led to a tour, buddying two of the greatest to ever touch the mic. Now, inspired by The Throne union, Chris Rock, who is one the funniest in his field, has been trying to get fellow comedian Chappelle to go on tour together.

“I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour,” said Rock during an interview with Vulture Mag. “You know I’m not the hard one, but, I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘me and Dave should do this.’”

The rumors of a possible trek first surfaced last October and it looks like Rock has not given up on the opportunity, not to mention, the success of Watch The Throne has given him more motivation.

In related news, Jay-Z recently revealed that he is not only planning on releasing another solo album this year, he plans on working on another Throne album with ‘Ye.

“It depends on how this thing finishes up,” Jay said in reference to his and Kanye’s current Watch the Throne Tour. “We — I say ‘we’ because I’m in Throne mode — we’re in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we’re really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone.”—Nicholas Sella

So far, confirmed members for the reunion include Swizz Beatz, Murda Mook and Drag-On.

DMX has revealed that a Ruff Ryders reunion and tour are in the works.

According to TMZ, X said that the collective has been in serious talks to regroup. While Eve recently hinted that the group could be staging a comeback, Dark Man X confirms that RR CEO Waah Dean is currently booking venues across the States for the tour.

X notes that Swizz Beatz, Drag-On and Murda Mook are on board, but that Eve and The LOX haven’t yet been contacted for the reunion.

“We are all family and we’re going to come back stronger than when we left,” said X. “It’s going to take the nation by storm.”

But Jason’s going to have to take a seat for a while after fracturing his neck during rehearsal yesterday.

Derulo, who boasts hits like “It Girl” and “In My Head,” apparently hurt himself while trying to pull off some gymnast moves and took to Twitter to break the news to his followers.

“I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour,” he writes. “Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU!” He attached a picture of himself sprawled out in a hospital gown and neck brace, jokingly asking “Like my new chain?”

Derulo’s tour is set to kick off in Glasgow Feb. 23. Hopefully he’ll be good to go by then.

HRMI will be launching the second season of their national audition tour, “Hood-to-Hood: America’s Next Hip-Hop Superstar.” The goal is to find an undiscovered emcee who has all the right weaponry to become the next rap icon.
