50 Cent has pledged to boost British singer Jamelia’s career by signing her up to his G-Unit label, WENN is reporting. The pair became close after meeting at the London premiere of his movie “Dead Man Running” last October.
A source close to the rapper tells WENN: “He thinks she is sexy, talented and has the right personality and talent to be huge in America. He wants to make her the new first lady of G-Unit, as it has no female artists.”
Jamelia recently revealed she had flown to the states to record her upcoming album.
“I’m collaborating with some amazing producers,” she said. “I’ve worked with a guy called Harmony who’s part of the Darkchild camp – he’s worked with everyone from Beyonce to Lady Gaga in the past.
