T.I. can not stay out of troubles way!!!! T.I. is not being sued!!!!! Clifford T.I. Harris was sentenced to 1 year and 1 day in jail for gun related charges in March 2009. As a part of his community service he aired a MTV exclusive show called “T.I.’s Road to Redemption”. The moral of the show was to help educate troubled teens and to “scare youths straight about the dangers of criminal activities”.

The first episode “You are responsible for your own actions” showed T.I. in the Haugabrooks Funeral Home in Atlanta with one of the troubled teens. In the funeral home T.I. shows the young man the corpse of an alleged hustler whose face was blurred.

Although the face was blurred out the body was that of Joseph Williams. “The mortician suggested that the family didn’t know what happened to their son on the MTV program”. The family of the corpse stated that “they not give consent for the body to be televised and the footage shown was done for financial gain and publicity.”

MTV, the funeral home and the incarcerated emcee are all named in the lawsuit which cites mental distress as the reason for them seeking a settlement for an undisclosed amount.
