West coast emcee Nipsey Hussle was detained by LAPD after a shooting involving his former manager, and his brother. A total of five people were taken into custody.
The Los Angeles Police Department are investigating the shooting, which took place at the intersection of Crenshaw and Slauson after Nipsey and his former manager, Eugene “Big U” Henley, got into a fight.
According to eyewitnesses, Nipsey’s brother, Samiel Asghedom pulled out a gun and fired it into the air in an attempt to end the conflict. LAPD then arrived on the scene shortly after. An officer fired a shot at Asghedom, but it did not hit him.
