BMS has learned that Warner Brothers wants to remake the 1974 buddy classic “Uptown Saturday Night” with Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier.
BMS has been told that WB has already tapped a well known writer and also the director of Wedding Crashers if it gets the green light. I loved Wedding Crashers.
Warner Bros. is reportedly working with (Will Smith’s company) Overbrook Entertainment on the project and they are throwing around 2 of the biggest names in hollywood Denzel Washington & Will Smith. Now you know this would cost them tons of money because both of those cats make about $20 million each just for showing up! LOL!
