A Kent State student is leading the way in a campaign to keep LeBron James in Cleveland.

Kent State junior and entrepreneurship major Austin Briggs wanted to send James a message after he did not sign a contract extension with the Cavs last year.

Briggs and sophomore Brittany Neal started the Web site, PleaseDontLeave23.com The site praises James’ for his impact on, not only the sports world, but on Northeast Ohio as a whole.

The site also sells “Please Don’t Leave” t-shirts with a picture of a sad state of Ohio.

James will become a free agent on July 1.
