The 2011 MTV VMA Awards were announced yesterday with Katy Perry, Adele and Kanye West leading the pack of nominees.Come inside to see how many nods Beyonce and Nicki Minaj got.

The ladies run this mutha. Katy Perry reigns supreme this year, topping the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards with 9 nods for Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Special Effects and the biggie, Video of the Year, for her smash “Firework” clip.

Adele also got 7 nods including Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for “Rolling In The Deep.”

She is followed by Kanye West who garnered 7 nods for “All of the Lights” and “Power,” including Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video and two shots at Best Collaboration for his Rihanna and Kid Cudi hook-up for “Lights” and his cameo in Perry’s “E.T.”

Bruno Mars scored 4 nods with “Grenade” including Video of the Year, Best Pop Video and Best Male Video.

Beyonce and Nicki Minaj both got three nominations. Bey’s nods include Best Choreography and Best Cinematography for “Run the World (Girls),” while Nicki’s “Super Bass” video earned Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Female Video nods.

Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean picked up nominations for Best Hip-Hop Video and Chris Brown also finds himself among the nominees with 2, plus the song “My Last” he’s featured on with Big Sean.
