A show that was scheduled to feature Kanye’s Atlanta protege CyHi Da Prince, Hip-Hop’s new favorite Compton representative Kendrick Lamar, and Weezy and Nick Cannon’s boy Cory Gunz.

While Cory’s name was the biggest on the flyer promoting the show and appeared at the very top, no one in attendance expected Cory to actually headline the show. And it didn’t take long for the promoters to realize that while his show on MTV, his dad and Lil Wayne may have fans, no one is checking for Cory’s music like that.

So despite having apparently given him top billing, they asked Cory Gunz to perform before Kendrick Lamar. And that’s when he threw his tantrum.

According to sources backstage, once they told Cory he would not be closing the event, Cory decided to do everything in his power to delay the show further, refusing to take the stage until he was good and ready to. When he finally appeared on stage, almost 30 minutes after CyHi, Cory was boo’d immediately by a couple of people in the audience.

That didn’t deter him from delivering what was probably the most lack luster show in Hip-Hop history.

He performed one obscure song featuring some guy no one knew about, then played both of Lil Wayne’s “6’7″ verses before getting to his own, then did Karaoke to Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” freestyle. Upon thanking the Atlanta crowd for their “love,” Cory was boo’d again, this time by the entire crowd.
