America has apparently been waiting for the past year, and McDonald’s is hooking you up.

The mega-food-chain says it will be selling its McRib boneless barbecue pork sandwich nationwide until Nov. 14. Normally its franchises can choose whether to sell the sandwich, but a national release last year was so popular that execs decided to serve it up again across the country.

So—why make the sandwich hard to get, if it’s so popular? “Bringing it back every so often adds to the excitement,” says marketing director Marta Fearon. And why call it a McRib when it lacks bones? “That gives it this quirky sense of humor,” she says.

Do you like the McRib or would you rather someone serve up some REAL ribs? Who should McDonald’s partner up with on ribs? My choice is out of business right now #imjustsaying.
