Whether it was two emcees rocking the stage together or one emcee backed by a dope DJ, Hip-Hop has had a lot of duos that have shown why 2 heads are better than 1.

While Hip-Hop changes the consistency of a good duo has always been around and still is.

Whether you are a fan of Eric B and Rakim, Clipse, or Outkast, no matter what style of Hip-Hop you like, there was a duo for you.

However, the question remains who is the best?

#10 the Clipse

One of the most consistent duos over the past decade, these brothers have rapping in the family genes and have no problem showing them off.

While Malice is promoting his new book and Pusha gears up for his first solo album, the Virginia emcees will always be able to hold the title as the best brother Duo in Hip-Hop.

I mean…unless you want to give that title to Master P and Silkk The Shocker -___-

#9 Salt N Pepa

The only female duo to make the list, Salt N Pepa has sold over 15 million albums and singles worldwide.

Salt-N-Pepa is the best selling female rap act, and six of their singles have been certified either platinum or gold.

They haven’t looked too bad doing it either!

#8 Eric B and Rakim

One mic and one DJ set was all these two needed to become of the most legendary duos in the history of Hip-Hop.

No gimmicks, just pure talent from the two fed Hip-Hop heads with classic after classic.

By the way, Eric B for President in 2012?

#7 EPMD

EPMD always have and are still taking care of business.

As one of Hip-Hop’s most oft-sampled duos, EPMD has a sound that will never get old and continue to influence rappers for years.
