This Can’t Be Life: Lil Zane Disses Tyler The Creator & The Game [Video]

This Can’t Be Life: Lil Zane Disses Tyler The Creator & The Game

That’s right, we couldn’t believe it either. Somebody went and dug Lil Zane up from the depths #NobodyCaresVille and told him that he needed to address his doubters. The crazy thing about all of this, Zane’s released music since 2001… Right, I couldn’t believe it either. The last I remembered of him, musically, was that lil baseball movie soundtrack that was released around that time called Hardball.

The first question for Zane is simple, “Why?” If you released an album in 2008 (Tha Return) that nobody cared about back then, what makes you think people care about you dissing relevant rappers now? I think you knew it was over when you released it.  Just look at this tracklist and tell me if it doesn’t reek of STRUGGLE.

1. Intro 2:08

2. Like This 3:22

3. Hoodstar 4:44

4. Do What You Do 4:00

5. Stay Talkin’ 3:48

6. Hush 4:00

7. Helpless 3:30

8. Do My Thang (Feat. Sterling) 4:08

9. Anywhere Part 2 4:14

10. Candypaint (Feat. Chauninist) 4:18

11. Wish U Would (Feat. Chauninist And Ajaxx) 3:33

12. Hustler’s Anthem (Feat. B. Hollywood) 4:31

Who on Earth is Ajaxx and Chauninist? Then on top of that, you released another #StruggleCompilation, and somehow slid your way onto the set of the 106 & Park Anniversary to announce it. (Funny enough I wanted to attach the video but couldn’t find it, the irony). However I did find a skit about your last remaining fan.

So now Zane decides to completely disrespect us all by getting on one of 2011’s hottest records, “Ni**as In Paris”. You my friend, have crossed the line with this one. This video also looks like it was shot on a Sidekick.

Remember his verse (which wasn’t half bad!) on this:
