Good job Nas! Well, sort of…

Nas missed a New Years Eve performance in Africa, and as a result, the promoter claims he was kidnapped! So Nas has decided to return the money (to the tune of $300k) he was paid for the show to clear everything up.

One day after news broke that his failure to appear at a concert in Angola may have caused a promoter to be kidnappedNas has decided to return the money. The Queensbridge rapper is at the center of a financial battle involving concert promoter Patrick Allocco’s abduction at the hands of another promoter, Henrique “Riquhino” Miguel, who shelled out  $315,000 for Nas to appear at a New Year’s Eve concert. The Queens MCs failure to show up cost Miguel the money, which he came to collect when he held Allocco and his son up at gun point.

Allocco alleges to have been interrogated by Miguel’s crew for several hours before the U.S. Embassy stepped in to help. A rep for the embassy confirmed that Allocco has been transported to a local hotel until the situation is resolved. He will however not be allowed to return back to the U.S. until the money is returned.

TMZ is reporting that Nas is ready to cut a check for $315,0000 in exchange for Allocco’s safe return back to the states. Sources told the website that the 38-year-old MC never had intentions of keeping the money, but doesn’t feel like he’s totally to blame for the debacle. “The key is getting Patrick Allocco home safely,” said a source.

Nas confirmed that he was booked to perform at the concert but didn’t show up due to a   discrepancy regarding his travel arrangement.
