East Hampton Town police said this week that they arrested a man on trespass and theft charges at Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ house in East Hampton last week. Quamine T. Taylor, who is 30, had been arrested on similar charges at Combs’ house 11 years ago, according to police.

A caretaker called police to Combs’ house in Northwest Woods on April 1, just one day after responding to a trespassing complaint at Alec Baldwin’s house in Amagansett.

Officers found Taylor upstairs in the hip-hop mogul’s waterfront house.

Police discovered Taylor had taken a train from Jamaica, Queens on March 31, took a cab to Combs’ house and entered through an unlocked basement door. He ate food, drank soda and liquor and went to sleep in an upstairs bedroom.

According to his arrest report, though, Taylor had triggered the alarm, prompting a visit from Scan Security Company and a police officer on April 1 just after 1 a.m. They spoke with Taylor, “who was believed to have permission to be at the residence at the time,” the police report said.

When officers were called back to the scene by the caretaker — according to the arrest report it was some time around 4 p.m. — they arrested Taylor. They let him get dressed before taking him away in handcuffs, police said.

Taylor was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and petty larceny, both misdemeanors, at 4:45 p.m. East Hampton Town Justice Lisa R. Rana arraigned him on April 2. He is being held on $2,000 bail at the Suffolk County jail in Riverside.
