Mary J. Blige’s foundation is focused on building self-esteem, confidence, and rewarding college scholarships to women. But lately, its been known for not existing….? Whoa, get that together, Mary…

Mary J. Blige insisted today her troubled charity will sing a new tune and get its act together to help struggling women.

The hip-hop diva said she’s hired a fresh team of managers to run her Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, following an explosive report in The Post, detailing the deadbeat charity’s funny-money practices.

“As soon as I was informed of the issues at FFAWN, I immediately called my advisors and lawyers to get to the bottom of what was happening,” she told E! News.

“As founder and CEO of FFAWN, I am ultimately responsible for anything that goes wrong. The problem is that I didn’t have the right people in the right places doing the right things. This should have never been allowed to happen, but it did and now we are fixing it. The good news is that we have been in touch with the MJB Center in Yonkers and the scholarship program, and both are in good shape.”

The Post revealed on Sunday that Blige’s charity has no office, no phone number — and hundreds of thousands of dollars in missing donations.

It failed to file its federal tax returns for 2010, which were due last November, along with its annual state-charity registration.

The charity has also been hit with a pair of civil lawsuits — one claiming the group stiffed musicians at its 2011 fundraising gala and another accusing FFAWN of defaulting on a $250,000 loan.

Blige said all parties will get their money and college scholarships are still the charity’s prime objective.

“FFAWN is not closing down,” Blige said. “FFAWN is working as quickly as possible with a new team of experts that includes a philanthropic consulting firm, a non-profit law firm, and a forensic accountant. Their goal is to get the foundation back on track, rectify outstanding issues, and make good on all of FFAWN’s obligations.”

I’m lilD, and that’s the Word Eye Heard. I heard MJB made $2 million from that Burger King commercial; you couldn’t break them people off their money…? Crispy chicken, fresh lettuce….
