Mayweather was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Friday morning at approximately 11:00 a.m. He will spend time three months behind bars for a 2011 domestic violence conviction.
According to a spokesmen with the jail, Mayweather has been placed in protective custody, which means he will be kept from the general inmate population.
He will remain in his cell while other inmates of the housing unit are on free-time. When other inmates are on lock down, Mayweather will come out for his free time – which is limited to one hour per day.
His cell is 7′ x 14′ or 6′ x 10′ and consists of a bed, toilet, sink and small desk. There is a window to allow direct sun light into the room.
