CLEVELAND, Ohio — Family, friends and community activists will gather today to remember slain Ashley Leszyeski, 21, of Cleveland.
Her body was found May 28 by a man walking at 8:45 a.m. in a field at East 93rd Street and Anderson Avenue.
She had two children and was reported missing May 15, two weeks after she moved into a home on Heath Avenue from an apartment on East 55th Street. She had lived at her mother’s Garfield Heights home until April 2.
Using dental records, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Leszyeski’s identity, but has not yet said how she died.
