Antonio Morrison isn’t afraid to go bark-for-bark with a police K-9. The linebacker for the University of Florida’s Gators football team was arrested early Sunday (July 21) for getting into a barking match with a dog.

Police in Gainsville, Fla. busted Morrison while responding to a disturbance call at the All Star Sports Bar.

Morrison reportedly started barking at the police dog named “Bear.” Cops handcuffed the sophomore who resisted being taken into custody.

According to the police report, the 19-year-old first made a “woof-woof” noise at the dog after it barked at him several times.

The teen was arrested on misdemeanor charges for interfering with police and resisting arrest. He was released on his own recognizance hours later.

The weekend incident marks the second arrest for Morrison in just over a month. On June 16 he was popped for punching a bouncer at a bar.

Gators coach Will Muschamp said he was “extremely disappointed in Antonio Morrison’s decision making.”

He has been suspended for two games.
