Whether you consider Chief Keef to be a star in the making or a niche act with a shelf life, he’s continued to maintain relevancy with releases like “I Ain’t Done Turnin Up” and “Go To Jail.”

Both songs fall in line with what we’ve come to know Keef for: harmony filled rhymes and street savvy lyrics. However, the former track is a bit more uptempo and could easily make an impact in clubs. “I ain’t got accountants/I got a money counter,” raps the Chicago native over knocking production. But he may want to fix that, unless he desires to learn the true meaning of blowing money fast.

“Go To Jail” is equally gritty, but it’s a slower groove that’s more in the vein of “Love Sosa.” If it’s worth anything, the latter is our favorite of the two records.

It’s unclear as to where “I Ain’t Done Turnin Up” and “Go To Jail” will land, because Keef is currently preparing a pair of projects — Bang Pt. 2 and Almighty So — that are due out soon. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Hear the tunes below.
