Terrence Howard doesn’t have $4,000 a month? If he does, he didn’t pay it on his SoHo apartment. He owes his landlord $55,000 in back rent.
“Iron Man” star Terrence Howard squatted in a tony SoHo pad for more than a year before recently being evicted, a new lawsuit says. “He’s just another deadbeat. He owes about $55,000,” said lawyer Lawrence Wolf, who’s representing the landlord of the West Broadway apartment where Howard lived for months without paying rent, until finally getting the boot in May.
Howard moved into the apartment in November 2011, but didn’t pay rent for months. And he continued to stay in the apartment even after his lease was up in November 2012.
“There’s no dispute. The issue is strictly the nonpayment,” Wolf said. Wolf said there was no dispute or argument between Howard and the landlord.
Sounds like they just need want their money.
I’m Dee Porter, and that’s the Word Eye Heard. Wasn’t Terrence Howard just in “The Butler?” Come up off that bread!
