FAIRVIEW PARK — A 13-year-old boy took a 9-mm revolver to Lewis F. Mayer Middle School Tuesday morning and showed it to several classmates, who didn’t report it until the end of the school day.
A student came forward about 3 p.m. and principal Tom Kairis called police. Officers and staff searched the building on Campus Drive and interviewed students.
