When it comes to dealing with the consequences of his dirty dog ways, Ludacris prefers to keep his business private.
The rapper-turned-actor is in the midst of an ongoing custody battle with baby mama Tamika Fuller and things have gotten really messy. The two have publicly gone back and fourth over child support and visitation, and now Luda realizes this is not a good look for his career.
As a result, the entertainer recently asked a Georgia judge to seal the entire case. According to Radar Online, Christopher Bridges claimed he’s been “publicly humiliated” and the nasty debacle is ruining his reputation.
“Because the media is able to read and misinterpret the documents in the Court’s file in this case, every day since Jan. 1, 2014, I have been publicaly humiliated and called a deadbeat dad, who does not want to see or support his minor child. Nothing could be further from the truth,” he told the court.
He went on to reference a story titled “Ludacris Baby Mama – You Treat Our Kid Worse Than a Dog.” “The news articles… say very negative things. I would hate for out daughter to ever see the blogs that have nothing good to say about either of her parents,” he added.
He concluded his case by saying the seal needs to take place immediately, or it could hurt his cash flow.
“In the event that an ex parte Order is not granted, and people are able to continue to read and misinterpret the documents in the Court’s file, my name, reputation, character, goodwill and brand will continue to suffer irreversible harm and damage, which may eventually jeopardize my earning potential,” he stated.
Fuller gave birth to Luda’s daughter in December 2013. The rapper insisted the child was conceived while “on a break” from girlfriend Eudoxie Agnan.
