Nearly two years ago, we told you about one of our favorite ’90′s shows “Boy Meets World” was getting a sequel, “Girl Meets World.” We reported that Ben Savage would come back as Cory Matthews and Danielle Fishel would resurface a Topanga, his wife.
The show focuses on their 13 year old daughter Riley and the adventures she experiences trying to grow up in this crazy world of ours–or as crazy as it gets on the Disney Channel.
The show, Fishel was sure to mention, will not be “Boy Meets World” reincarnate. But she says it will have familiar faces, themes and messages with that new new stuff as well.
Two years ago, we were excited to see what they were going to do with this. Now it appears that the wait is almost over. And to tide you over for that final stretch, check out the trailer for the new show in the video below.
They didn’t give us a whole bunch but can I be honest when I say my heart skipped a beat when Cory climbed in through that window?! Nostalgia is real and I’m so here for this. To see Cory and Topanga on screen again together…as a couple? Everything.
