In the wake of the NBA’s decision to place a lifetime ban on Los Angeles Clippers own Donald Sterling, several celebrities have come forward expressing interest in the acquisition of the franchise.

In addition to boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather, billionaire Oprah Winfrey and music legend Dr. Dre both say they are thinking about giving it a shot.

According to ESPN.com,

Oprah is planning to team up with Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and music magnate David Geffen to make a bid at buying the Clippers… if the NBA can force Sterling’s hand in selling.

Geffen said the Clippers would be run by himself and Ellison, while Winfrey would be an investor.
